I agree that it is better not to use the car. I would much prefer to take public transport but unfortunately that is rarely a sensible option for me. We have a very poor public transport system in Brisbane and outer suburbs. Further, we don’t have the bikeway systems that other cities throughout the world have either. I wish we did—I’d prefer anything but the car.

is it rely silly paying that much for petiol just to make your car move change it now!!!!

I must say that it's a pretty easy challenge: Rudd expects petrol backlash after 'bad week' It's quite sad really, cecause of Australia's housing affordability nightmare, we move further and further away from where we work, so we all must spend longer and longer on unreliable public transport.
